First Sculpture

My very first Sculpture...

Meet Gretta, with her baby Gretchen.....

A Past Life as Gretchen....

Sculpture entered my life 5 months ago...I'm now a permanent fixture over at the 

Armory in 

Palm Beach, Florida..

....Gretta was my first attempt....

At first, I was a bit intimidated with the clay medium, but very quickly fell in love....I know I have done this before !!!

.....Gretta is holding her child who died in childbirth....

I didn't realize this at first, but I kept noticing I could not sculpt the baby to look like a baby....I later learned through my subconscious memories/dreams that the baby was born dead...

There was no baby....

I also remembered that Gretta (was me in a past life time)......

She was devastated by this experience and learned that she could not have any more children....

She lived the rest of her short life a very sad, depressed person...

.....unfortunately, she could not find the "Joy"

in her life .....

....the lesson wasn't learned....
